5 days – Learn about the hydraulic components and circuits typically found on today’s mobile equipment. After an introduction to the fundamentals of flow rate, pressure, force, and power, we will move onto variable displacement pumps, both open and closed loop, and the common pump controls used upon them. Pressure and flow controls, along with control blocks, will be included in both the classroom discussion and lab exercises. The fundamentals of logic cartridge and proportionally controlled valves will also be included to better your understanding of these more advanced-level control valves.

This course was designed, in part, at the request of customers who have attended other hydraulic courses at our facility and noticed the shear volume of both demonstration and fully functional mobile system components we have in stock.

Real-world hydraulic systems from the oil and gas, railroad, mining, and construction industries will be referenced during the training session.
